We have friends who are planning a group thing this weekend... probably would last from 5-10pm or so... babies not invited. I’m a FTM to a 5w old. Im EBF - the longest I’ve been away from her was about 2 hrs (left her with my parents, who live out of state). She has taken a bottle twice (did totally fine), and has the 6-10 pm witching hour.

When did you feel comfortable leaving your baby with someone who really doesn’t know him/her at all? My husband thinks “we have to do it sometime” but I don’t feel ready. I totally trust the friends we’d ask but they’ve spent maybe 30 minutes with her while she’s been sleeping. My husband hasn’t even had to feed her and put her to bed alone yet.
