Went for my regular check up and doctors immediately sent me to labor and delivery for more tests . Blood pressure sky high for 4 hours while there . Did a 12 hour urine catch and my protein levels were 5 times more than they should be. Swelled up so much. Ended up having seizures while there. Babies hear rate kept dropping then accelerating high showing she was in distress. They decided right then and there to induce even though my body wasn’t ready at all. Put in a tampon looking thing for 12 hours only got me to barely 1 cm. Put in these balloon things for 2 hours got me to a 4cm after that hooked up pitocin and upped every 30 minutes from then on it was a slow painful process to get to a 10 . 38 hours to be exact they couldn’t give me any pain meds or epidural due to me continuing to have seizures. The last 10 minutes of my labor part I went from a 7 to a 10 to screaming she’s coming out. They didn’t believe me because they just checked and I was at a 7 but sure enough she was a 10 and crowning. I then started panicking because I was scared of the pain. Went straight into panic attack . But with 5 pushes I managed to get her out. She was born 4 weeks early exactly and wasn’t crying or breathing on her own they immediately took her to nicu. I was on magnesium for 24 hours after due to preeclampsia and couldn’t leave the bed. So I couldn’t meet my daughter for her first 24 hours of life. I cried and cried and cried but everything checked out and she was back to me 29 hours after she was born. I’m so worried now that she’s a premie and flu season. Definitely worth it and she’s a strong girl. But scarred me enough to say I’m content and happy with my two girls . No more kids for me😅 picture of my little girl
