Story times?

Question

Do you ladies or know of other ladies or dads even that still do story times at your local library? I’m curious because I’m pretty housebound and getting bored with my 3 month old. I desperately need to get out and find some mom friends in the area! If not story time any other suggestions for me!? I am in Houston so it’s very big and overwhelming  at times for me. Hope you all are doing well today too 🤗

My husband and I take our 16 month old and 4 month old to Sing, Sign, Laugh, Learn (free class) every Saturday morning at the library. It’s an awesome way to meet other parents and socialize your kiddos

I'm not in Houston or in Texas for that matter (Grand Rapids, MI). But my church does a "Music in Motion" story time every Tuesday. Its mostly aimed for 18m-4yo ages. It is songs and dancing and stories. It is a great way to get out of the house and socialize with other moms with small kids. You could look at the local churches to see if they offer anything like it. Half of the moms and kids who go to our group don't go to our church.

We go to storytime! The library in town has it twice a month. We live out in the country so it's rather hard to get out of the house to go to town, but both my kids love it!!

We started at a story time at the library which my two-year-old still attends. From there we learned about other play groups and opportunities in our community. It’s been a great resource for us!
