separation anxiety already?

Question

my boyfriend took our baby over to his grandmas house to visit and so that i could get some rest. he told me that his grandma said “hi baby” and she freaked out and started bawling her eyes out. is this a form of separation anxiety? i feel like it’s super early for that... he said she was completely fine with him before his grandma said hi to her. 
if not separation anxiety, what could it be? here’s a picture of her after it happened.
(part of the redness is from her being vacuumed out of me, lol)

Stranger danger! I think I read somewhere it usually starts up around 4-6 months and subsides after a year old

Absolutely possible. My baby only wants me right now. It’s sweet but hard! She freaks out if I’m not in direct eye sight.

Definitely possible. My baby really enjoyed dad being home this weekend and she’s been crying for daddy all day while he’s at work. We have to go visit him so she will smile!

This happened with my first son any time he was left alone with dad for the first 6 or 8 months. I felt horrible! He was used to basically only me taking care of him though because dad worked so much. It’s a normal phase I think.

This has happened to us a few times too so I think some babies just start it early!

It’s been happening with my baby too. A family member that he had never met before fame to visit last week, and she took him to hold him, said “Hi,” and his bottom lip went out and he started crying until I took him back. I guess stranger anxiety can happen this early!!

Some babies can be choosy and weird about who they go to based on faces. I’m always surprised my son likes everyone and doesn’t shy away because my niece was always super choosy. She didn’t like beards and she didn’t like going to my grandma which made us all sad lol. My grandma’s the cutest and sweetest too idk what it was, but she’d look at her face and cry!
