My mother is being so rude to me about the name I’ve picked out for our baby should it be a girl.

My husband and I have chosen the name Florence. I think it’s so beautiful and versatile. It’s feminine and strong and can be playful if we call her Flo and professional if she chooses the full name. Also, it’s multicultural so it’ll be easy for her to exist within both her cultures (American and Venezuelan).

My mom has publicly expressed her distaste for the name on my Facebook and won’t stop providing alternative names.

My husband told me to tell her “You had your chance at naming children, old woman” 😂
