What's the protocol for a meal train?

My bible study leader is setting up a meal train for my family after baby arrives. She said to send her any email addresses of people I want to include. Is it weird to include people on the list without them knowing? I'm thinking like my step sisters and maybe a couple friends. I don't know 😬

Usually it’s the other way around. Someone sets up a link and people offer to sign up for a certain day and meal. I think it might be weird to put people on the spot like that and flat out ask them to sign up.

Do you have social media? I see the links gets posted to FB all the time in my moms bible study group. I’ve had several people ask me about it so my moms going to create one and post it for me!

I personally would give the people a heads up to expect it. I’d probably say “Don’t feel like you have to, but I was encouraged to set this up etc etc”

To clarify... she will be sending it to our whole bible study group. Anyone extra I want included she said for me to send her the email addresses.
