So, I had my first cervical exam yesterday morning, and it must have made baby girl really mad, because she started kicking extremely hard after I got home. Like, wincing in pain because it hurt so much, hard. Now my entire right side is incredibly sensitive. I thought at first she had maybe bruised a rib, but the pain doesn't seem to be so much internal as external. Even just lightly brushing my fingers across my side hurts. There's no rash or bruise or anything to indicate something is going on and it's perfectly the right half of my body, from belly button to middle of my back. No pain on my left. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was it? I called L&D and they said that as long as baby is still moving, everything should be ok, but to come in if she stops or of the pain gets really bad.
