Should I take a pregnancy test?

I gave birth in January. My son is 9 months and started getting a regular period again in May and this is the first month that it hasn’t come. It’s 12 days late and we don’t really use protection except the pull out method... I know... 
Should I take a pregnancy test? I am a breastfeeding mom so idk if because of breastfeeding my period could not come for a reason.

Yes, definitely take a test. That said, yes breastfeeding can cause irregular periods and/or changes in ur breastfeeding routine can throw things off as well.

If you want to rule out pregnancy, taking a test would be a good idea. Breastfeeding can still make you irregular
