RashesđŹ
PSA to my ladies who wear pads when menstruatingïżŒ. Change your pad every 3-4 hours please do. I have a very light flow, I always have since I first started having a period. But one day I got lazy and didnât change my pad for more than 8 hours (a whole school day, from the time I got out the shower till I got home.) I know yâall probably thinking âomg thatâs so grossâ but it was barley blood I didnât think anything of it. I donât even think my mom was aware you can literally get a âdiaperïżŒ rashâ from wearing a pad too long. It happens just like how babyâs get rashes when they donât get changed often. Your sitting in bacteria too long. Itâs painful, you have redness and itâs itchy. If this ever happens to you I recommend trying to discover what the rash came from first. If you know you change your pad within 3-4 hours or sooner it could be caused by something else like something that the pad was made with is harmful/ doesnât agree with your Vag. So try changing the pad brand if you think thatâs the case. But if you get a rash from wearing the pad to long I recommend doing what I did and using baby dipper rash ointment and bath less! I know once again yâall think âthatâs grossâ but your only making the situation worse scrubbing the rash I promise you that. So when you do take your showers either just rinse your cookie with water or not at all. Itâs perfectly safe considering the fact your lady part cleans herself. You wonât die from not scrubbing it down for a day or 2. You shouldnât have an odor but if you do just rinse your vag or rub it down with water gently with your hands only. This happened sophomore year of high school, I wasnât aware it was possible to get a rash nobody had ever told it could happen so Iâm just trying to help people in in advanced. (Sorry for the grammar, Im too lazy to fix it... I really need to stop being âtoo lazyâ đ)
