Weight Loss for Fertility Treatment

Hi all. This is my first time posting in this group. I was just wondering if any of you had to lose weight in order to proceed with fertility treatment and if so, do you have any tips or experiences to share? 😊 My husband and I had our first appointment at the Infertility Clinic yesterday. However, they said I have to get my BMI down to under 30 before they'll even refer us for treatment. 😓 I knew I'd put on quite a lot of weight over the past few months after we experienced a miscarriage back in May. I guess I just didn't realise how much I'd gained until now. 😞 My BMI is currently 35, so I have to get it under 30 before we can be referred for treatment. I'm just feeling really deflated just now. I really thought we could be pregnant again soon with the help of the clinic, but it looks like it'll be a long time before that's even a possibility. 💔
