Possible hematoma?

So this is my second pregnancy, and last night before bed I felt a little sharp pain around my pelvic area. When I went to the bathroom I was spotting, and a few clots passed. I didn’t bleed at all through the night. I have been assuming it is a miscarriage, but I read about the subchorionic hematoma? The only reason I’m wondering about this is because I had a hematoma after delivery with our first. I am calling my doctors office when they open but wanted to hear from any others who have experienced clots and had a miscarriage or healthy pregnancy.
