If it was my only child then we would just do family’s houses.

I took my first daughter when she was only 6 months old. We just went to family’s houses so they could see her costume and they were all prepared and had applesauce and teething rings for her trick or treat bucket. More fun for mom :)

I feel like it’s completely up to each parent. I’m not taking my kid until she’s old enough to understand the concept but a lot of parents think it’s fun before that age so whateva! You do you!

Halloween is my favorite holiday but it just seems silly to take them that young unless you have an older child and would be going anyway. Even with my two year old...who is shy and doesn’t want to wear his costume and isn’t really allowed much candy...I’m not sure if we’ll actually go. I’m thinking of doing a play date with Halloween snacks in their costumes.

My son was 4 months and we went to one trunk or treat event and then just went important family members houses.

My son was 3 months old when Halloween came around. I dressed him up. Took pictures. Took him to the grandparents house. I did have him in the stroller and took him to a trunk or treat. But just to show him off. We didn't get candy lol

I said yes because I have two older kids that want to go. I didn’t take my first kid.
