How are you guys getting your hcg levels?

It's not generally a normal test in pregnancy unless you are going through fertility or have issues/concerns.
Most doctors go with a positive urine test and accept that as is.  I think it's better since so many women worry about their numbers and cause unneeded stress

I only had mine drawn because of previous miscarriages.  It’s not necessarily a routine thing unless you’re having problems like spotting.

My ob gave me a script for the lab at my first appointment.

I got my labs drawn by my OB he wanted to make sure it doubled correctly because I've had several miscarriages.

Either one. But if you have an OB - just request from him/her.
