Is it true that you’re more fertile right after a miscarriage?

Literally everyone in my life was like 'youll get pregnant again SO fast'. My best friend told me how she got pregnant 2 weeks after her ectopic loss. But here I am 8 months out no luck whatsoever.

I wish I knew why but after my stillbirth my omgyn said don’t have sex right away you’re very fertile. The first 3 months after a miscarriage is the most high rate to get pregnant. This was all from the doctor. Hope I helped some and after a miscarriage at least  wait 2 weeks to try again to prevent infections.

Had a miscarriage on Jan 11, D&C on Jan 21st and got a positive pregnancy test mid-February (got pregnant around Valentine’s Day). Being induced in 12 days! I was also told by my OB that you’re extremely fertile after a miscarriage and especially after a D&C since it totally cleans you out. Best of luck!

You are more fertile to the fact that your uterus gets a great cleanout.  Which makes it easier for implantation and allows for the egg to attach easier.
