Blood test to find out gender?

Hi ladies! Did anyone do the blood test to find out the gender? If so, how many weeks along were you? I’ve heard it can be unreliable so I just wanted to see if anyone had and positive/negative results with it. Thanks!!

I did the Sneak Peek test, and it was right for me with a boy. I was 9 weeks when I did it. If you get a girl result it’s 100% correct, if you get a boy result it’s 98.9% accurate. The reason for the boy result being different is because the blood test is checking for male DNA. We as women obviously do not have male DNA, so if it’s a girl result it’s definitely a girl. If the test detects male DNA in the sample, it’s either because you are pregnant with a boy, or you didn’t follow the instructions properly and your sample was contaminated by male DNA (husband, son, male dog, etc.).

I know of 3 couples that they did blood work and got the opposite sex later on..I opted out and we’ll find out next month. Id rather wait that get the wrong gender lol

I had mine done at 10 weeks along with a bunch of other recommended tests since I’ll be 35 next week and delivery is about 9 weeks away. It was accurate. I’m having another girl. She was confirmed at 20 weeks.

I think I was 12/13 weeks. I had mine done by the doctor because it was the genetic screening for Down syndrome and spina bífida. The gender was also correct (girl).

I did mine when they did my first blood work around 10 weeks and they said it is definitely more accurate than the ultrasound my midwife said it goes off DNA so it is 100% accurate

i did it at 10 weeks and if you do the one through your doctors office it’s about 98% accurate so i’d say it’s pretty reliable!😁
