After being on the birth control pill for about 4 years I decided today that I am getting off of it!!!

I didn’t want to get pregnant...

It regulates my periods and gets rid of cramps...

These are the things my mom and my doctor told me while I’m on birth control. The reason I didn’t stop.

I am now married and moved away from home and I’m on my last pack of pills. I’m not necessary ready to have a kid but my husband and I spoke and while we aren’t ready, we are still financially stable and in a place where we will be okay if we had one.

So, in preparation for having a child someday, and just concentrating on what *I* want for my body instead of my mom or doctor, I am going off birth control this upcoming month!!

I am hoping my period will come back in a decent amount of time but overall I am so freaking excited!! This is such a milestone for me
