Does this sound rude?

I’m a daycare teacher for 2 year olds and we’re having a party next week. My mom said this message seemed a little rude so I didn’t want to send it just yet. Does it seem like it is? And if so what should I change? 
“Hey parents, I know I spoke to some of you already but just as a reminder we will be having a party on Tuesday, October 29th. Lunch will be provided for the kids. We also will be painting pumpkins and doing a candy hunt and a couple of other activities with the kids. Feel free to also dress them up in costumes you’d like.” I also wanted to add a part about if they wanted to bring something or the kids then they just bring a small pack of candy.

Rude? No, this is just informative. Parents want to know what's going on and you gave them a heads up!

It's not rude but I'd change Hey Parents to Hi Parents. I'd leave out I've spoken to some of you already and start with friendly reminder that we are having x event on whatever day it is. I'd be a little more specific about what the other activities are.

Nothing wrong with it. I would change how to starts to, “Just a friendly reminder that we will be having....”
You don’t need exclamation marks. 
Some people can be obnoxious using exclamation marks! 😉

I work at a daycare too and that message sounds a lot like one the teachers here would send out to parents. It’s also very informative. If you want to change anything change the wording of them last few sentences about the candy. Otherwise sounds pretty good😊
