Nearly 39 weeks and SHARP pains 😭😭

So I’m due in a little over a week and have been having some general cramping feelings but nothing too strong or consistent. Then this morning I had a pain in my lower abdomen strong enough to wake me up 😳 I got up and took a shower and it calmed down so I headed to work. Cramping continued but not any worse than it has been. Then a little after lunch I get hit with these very intense sharp pains in my lower abdomen. I mean OUCH. it was like waves of sharp pains like I was repeatedly getting stabbed in the uterus 😩 Drank some water and walked around and they eventually slowed and

stopped but hopefully this is a good sign that we are getting close! FTM here and I’ve been nervous about how painful contractions would be. I have lofty hopes of going the natural route, but if that is a weak glimpse of what is to come, we might be in some trouble 😅 Good luck to everyone out there! Scary but exciting time!! 🤞
