So last October I got a pap done, and my results came back abnormal as ASCUS. They told me to retest in a year, so I just got retested this month and my results came back abnormal again. The Dr wants to preform a colposcopy on me and I’m honestly terrified. My anxiety is high, because I’m thinking the worst. I read online that a colposcopy is performed similarly to a Pap smear. I dislike paps, they’re very uncomfortable to me and always hurt. So that also makes me nervous. I’m scheduled to do this next week, and I’m curious if any of you ladies have been through this? Or have any words of advice. TIA 💗
