Bleeding during childbirth- no more kids?

Has anyone had bleeding during childbirth? I apparently did and they had to push on my belly really hard. Apparently there was some panic?? It was a blur to me. I did not need a transfusion. Is this reason enough to not have another child? Nobody said anything to me after I gave birth. This was 3 years ago. And now hubby is paranoid I’ll die next time. Ugh.

I lost nearly 2l of blood after having my little boy 3 years ago. Sounds similar to you, didn't have a transfusion, but it was pretty scary and all a bit of a panic. I was told that when I have another, they wouldn't recommend I have a home birth or deliver at a midwife led birth centre. They also mentioned they might cannulate me in labour so that they have iv access in case of another haemorrhage.
Having had one post partum bleed puts you at increased risk of it happening again, but the risk is still low overall 🙂
We are currently trying for our second baby, so hasn't put us off x

I hemorrhaged with my last child, have a blood disorder and history of pre-eclampsia that all puts me as high risk. I’m currently 36+1 weeks pregnant with my third child and have never been told to stop having children by any of my healthcare providers which includes an infertility doctor, hematologist, and midwife. Hemorrhages happen even when everything goes “right.” It’s unfortunately a risk with birth.

I hemmoraged last time and needed a few transfusions after birth. 
I'm 36+6 weeks with my second now and having blood transfusions already (due to low iron levels) never been told not to have anymore ect
