How does PCOS effect you?

I’m overall curious about what you ladies go through and what you experience with PCOS. This has been my #1 fear since TTC. I never really knew much about PCOS/Endometriosis, or really any infertility issues til TTC. 
Do you get a period every month? Do you 
/can you ovulate every month? Is it painful? How did you find out? What symptoms did you have?

I only get my period every month if I’m exercising consistently & eating a low carb diet. Idk if I ovulate because my OPKs are ALWAYS positive. I have a very hard time losing weight. My partner & I have been somewhat trying for 2 years now (not obsessively trying though) & have not gotten pregnant 😟

My PCOS symptoms include difficulty losing weight, acne, thinning hair and irregular periods. My periods range from 30ish days to the longest 60+. I am currently in the longest cycle I’ve had at 61 days. I also have noticed more and more that my body just does not feel good if I don’t eat right so I’m really trying to eat a PCOS friendly diet which means no gluten, dairy, sugar, processed foods. I’m hoping this helps with my cycle as my husband and I are wanting to have a baby.

I’ll go months without a period.  Some facial hair but not really noticeable. Weight gain that seems almost uncontrollable unless I sit and watch everything little thing I eat. My hair is thin also

I have regular cycles, but I randomly ovulate. I also have one side that I do not ovulate from. The one time I got a positive test, it was a chemical. I took pcos inositol and it made my ovulation symptoms much stronger when it happens. What helps is taking one day at a time, and reminding myself what is for me will happen.

I do get my period about once a month but it varies between 25 & 45 days. I never knew I had PCOS until I was TTC. It did make TTC harder for me, but I took letrozole and was able to get my BFP. I only have mild PCOS and don’t get a lot of the symptoms that other ladies have.
