How to get an ultrasound

History: 4 pregnancies, 3 live births, 1 miscarriage.

Now at 30 I’m pregnant again. The miscarriage I had was rough. The baby had stopped growing (or died is the real word huh) at 6 weeks but i carried him until 9 when I had my first ultrasound. I didn’t know. I was just walking around with a baby telling everyone I was pregnant and what not but the baby wasnt alive. It changed my outlook on some things.

Anyway fast forward and now I’m pregnant and my doc won’t do my first ultrasound until 10 weeks. I’m 6w+2 now. And I have known I was pregnant since 8DPO. So it’s been a min already. They didn’t even do the quant doubling tests to see if the pregnancy is going well so far.

I want an ultrasound this week just to see if there is a sac and maybe a heartbeat. But I don’t want to sound dramatic. What would you do? Wait it out or call the doc? If you do call, what does that call sound like?
