Driving postpartum??

Question

How long did y’all wait after having yalls baby to drive yourself around? I’m one week postpartum and having a fairly easy recovery this second time around and I didn’t tear.

I drove home from the hospital. But I had a vaginal birth so I don't know if I count..

My mom had c-sections and she was always told she could drive again when she felt like she could slam on the brakes if needed. I followed that. It was about 2 weeks with my first, less than a week with my second (both vaginal).

I couldn’t until 5 weeks pp but I could barely sit without being in pain, took a while to feel normal again so I didn’t want to drive while i was still hurting.

I had a c section and my doctor said 2 weeks. Yesterday was my first time behind the wheel in awhile. It was so strange!

I didn’t drive til I was cleared at 4 weeks after c section though

2 days later, second degree tear but that didn’t affect my driving

A day after I came home from the hospital - 6 days after birth. It was vaginal with no tears though sand I wasn’t given  any restrictions.
