I’m 37+4. Today my doctor told me he doesn’t want me to go past 40 weeks and asked me to pick a day to be induced after 39 weeks. So I’m getting induced at 39+2. His reasoning is my high blood pressure at appointments. At appointments my BP has been around 140’s/80’s sometimes even higher. The reason why I’m wary about getting induced is because my blood pressure is only slightly elevated at home (130’s/80’s). I get nervous at appointments so I think that’s why it’s elevated. So I’m nervous that I’m getting induced when I’m actually healthy and don’t need it. Of course I want to meet my baby but I want to do what’s best for him and me. I don’t want to make labor harder than it has to be. Opinions appreciated! Thanks 💕
