Weaning at 10 months
Hey mamas, so my baby girl has been exclusively breastfeed her whole life. She has taken a bottle the odd time with my breastmilk in it and has never had formula.
I am starting a new job on December 2nd when she is 11 months old.
I want to start weaning her off gradually but keep my morning & evening feeds. Should I give her formula for the rest of the day? Or should I go straight to cows milk at 11 months?
It seems silly to give her formula for only a month and a half even though I know everyone says no cows milk until 1 year.
This is so tricky because since I’ve been breastfeeding her all day I really don’t know how much milk/formula she will need during the day without me.
Any advice/wisdom on this would be greatly appreciated!
