Am I having contractions?

I’ve been up the last three hours with mild/moderate period like cramps. They last for about 45 seconds and are anywhere from 4-9minutes apart. It’s not intolerable pain but definitely uncomfortable where I don’t want to talk through them. Are these contractions?

Sounds like it! My contractions weren't severe until I had pitocin. I was able to work my 10 hour shift at the hospital before going to L&D, but they admitted me as soon as I got there. Good luck!!

Thanks everyone! They are getting stronger and closer to 50 seconds now, about 5 minutes apart. I will be heading to the hospital soon!

Mine started out that way and I was like okay these aren’t so bad. A few hours later they became so painful and I knew it was the real deal. Good luck mama!

Mine felt like super strong period cramps! I also had very strong back cramps and had really bad back labor. When I started timing mine they were 2-4 minutes apart and lasted 30-50 seconds.

I would strongly suggest going to the hospital :)
