Nexplanon removal+PCOS

Hi all. I've had my implant for almost a year, along with the weight gain that I've been trying to loose-albeit only a few lbs, I've decided enough is enough and I want to get some normality back (partner has agreed that we will not try but not prevent once I get it out)

However I have pcos and before having the implant put in I hadn't had a period for a while anyway. I had one period just after having it inserted and no further bleeding in 10 months, I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has been in a similar situation with the implant and pcos and whether your periods returned afterwards?
