Bleeding on and off for weeks

I had birth August 8th and my bleeding stopped as normal. But last month I’ve bleed off and on . Bring red blood. Thought was my period but I will go to rest room and whole bunch of bright red blood there , not like when a period start and there is spotting.

I will admit the bleeding happens when I’ve been out all day doing something and last a few days. My family keep telling me to rest even though over 6 weeks.

Anyone have this happen to them or heard about?
