Anyone ttc, around age 43, breastfeeding & cycles are "off" ?
I had my now 14 mo old 2 month shy of 42 after an hsg & femara. I had a loss 2 yrs prior that the d&c blocked tubes with tissue. I always ovulated CD 14 and had a 28 day cycle like clockwork. I've never before skipped cycles before. At 10 months post partum my cycle came back but ever since they've returned, I have a positive opk/lh on day 19/20 🤷🏼♀️😔 and my bbt is spiking on day 21/22.BUT, my cycle still starts on day 28. Def short Luteal phase. 2 months I've skipped an entire cycle but still started the next cycle on what would be the 28 day if I hadn't skipped. The months I skipped I didn't ovulate. I've breastfed before and never had this issue in fact got pregnant while breastfeeding 12-18 month Olds. Does being in my late 20's factor in tho. I'm worried menopause might be early 💔 but also wonder if a Dr will even entertain seeing me while I'm still nursing. I'm trying to wean her but that's a whole different story - I just had a sleep study on her because she doesn't sleep more than 2 hrs straight and wants to nurse back to sleep half the time. I'm suspicious she has sleep apnea but the results won't be in for 2 more weeks. My heart just isn't ready to be complete with our family, but if it is I still count my blessings. I still however need to know if I need to be seeing a Dr or if a Dr will see me 🤔
Any advice, personal experience, suggestions or knowledge of if a Dr will see me if I'm still nursing?
