I’m exhausted of pumping. I started pumping when LO was born because he was in the nicu. I was pumping 50+ oz a day when he came home. I am down to 8-12 oz 1-2 times a day but I’m just DONE. I have around 1000 oz of milk in the freezer.

Do you think it’s okay to stop pumping unless I feel the need to? I pumped with my second, multiple times a day, and nursed her until she was 2. I didn’t pump at all with my first and by 6 months, I couldn’t keep up with her demand. I’m anxious that if I don’t pump in excess, I won’t be able to keep up with his demand.

I just feel like it’s getting more and more stressful as baby gets older and is awake more and also, it contributes to tons of nipple soreness. I dread the first 1-2 nursing sessions after I pump and SO still isn’t allowed to touch my breasts because of pumping.
