I did with my last at 8 months, but thats because i didnt know about it before. I plan on doing it at 5 months this time which will be in 1 month.

I have started about two weeks ago putting by baby down drowsy but awake to get him used to self soothing, this was an easier approach for me then straight wide awake and listening to them cry it out, once we master this we will slower be putting him down more awake and walking out for 2-3 mins and go back to soothe if needed and then up the mins each night I wait before going in each night until he falls asleep without needing us to come back. Putting him down drowsy is working great, I used to feed and rock him for an hour sometimes 1.5 hours till he was in deep sleep to move to bassinet now I feed and burp and place him in and he drifts off. I cut my bedtime into 5-10mins now

3 months. Did extinction. Took about four days!

I started the week he turned 3 months old. I just give him up to 5 minutes to whimper or cry before I go In. I watched him on the baby monitor. The first week I got 5 then 6 then a few 7hr stretches where he would cry a little but get himself back to sleep within 2-3 minutes. The next week it was 8 then 9 then consistently 9.5 to 11hrs that he will stay asleep. He started kicking himself in circles so I did have 1 night he didn’t sleep well but once I removed the changing table from his graco bed we were back to long nights. He just moves around in his sleep quite a bit but he is still asleep and I can get some sleep!! Most mornings I can give him a bottle and he goes back to sleep for 1.5 to 3 hrs so a total of 11-12.5hrs of sleep!!

Not really sure what sleep training is (please no judgement). I have 3 kids and they all started sleeping through the night at 3 months. We have always put our kids in their cribs at 8pm even if they were awake. I guess it will just happen when they are ready. I have to wake my almost 4 month old. She will sleep 12 hours if you were to let her.
