Please read

My period was due October 14th, on the 20th i started spotting not even enough for a liner, only when i would pee but it was brownish/pinkish and more like mucus, i thought that my period was going to start. For my surprise it only lasted that day, the next day it was gone! And since then i have not gotten my real period. I test but i feel like my eyes are playing games with me as i see faint line but if i am this late i should be seeing a strong positive! Has this happened to anyone and if so what was the outcome? Like did you get a positive? Or should i just assume my period was weird this month and wait for next? Thank you❤️
