So 3 weeks ago I got my first positive pregnancy test. Later that day I had severe cramping and bleeding. Went in for HCG testing that went every other day from 48 to 123 to 173. Then after 3 days it dropped to 112. Then again to 96.

I had an ultrasound on Monday that showed nothing in my uterus and a small mass on my ovary. They said they may not be able to see anything because I was only about 4 weeks along, but it’s more likely I miscarried.

It’s now the Sunday after, my husband and I had sex and I was curious to see if my HCG had dropped to zero yet so we could start really trying again. So I peed on a stick just to see if it was negative yet.

I got my darkest positive.

I’m not holding out hope or anything. I know that with the blood work drop it’s pretty clear this pregnancy wasn’t viable. But why the hell was that line so dark? I’m going to the doctor tomorrow for more blood work to see where my HCG is at.
