Teaching boyfriend about birth control
I recently just started taking the pill, and my boyfriend has been really curious about how it works. And so I explained it to him, which lead to more questions. And I ended having a great conversation explaining to him about different types of birth control, side effects, and how periods work etc etc. (he knew the basics but not in depth)
It was refreshing to have him ask questions, but it's also just sad how the education system fails to teach boys (&girls) about the female reproductive system.
By the end of me explaining all of it to him, he was just in shock and he said "you are so strong, you are the superior sex."
As a feminist I can't say I agree with anything other than equality, but I will say that if men had to go through what women do, they'd handle it a lot worse. Anyways I'm posting this bc y'all should check on your mans knowledge bc it might shock you how little they know about women's reproductive health. Let's be teachers and normalize conversations about this!!
