Keloid Scarring and Tattoos

so i really want a tattoo but Keloid scarring runs in the family. My mum has them bad and my twin sister and brother have them for sure. i dont have a scar that has yet progressed into a keloid so im yet to know whether i 100% have them (which i most likely do if both my sister and brother do).

i only want a tattoo on either my finger or wrist or ankle. and they would only be small in detail (lines & no colour)

i have had surgery on my eyelid and didnt keloid on my eyelid.

for those of you who dont know what keloid scarring is, long story short your body doesnt know when to stop healing itself when a scar occurs ect and so it over heals creating a lump of scar tissue instead of a normal scar. thue dont look great and we are told that if we do keloid to not get piercings or tattoos :( but i want one so bad!

thoughts and if you have keloids and have a tattoo please tell me! its probs not worth the risk but these days im like ahh i want one!
