Went in this morning to my OB to get checked to see if my water had broken because I was having some leakage, along with losing my mucous plug and having some pink blood along with it (I woke up to my underwear very wet).

OB said test was negative, water had not broken, that she thought it was probably fluid from my mucous plug that was in my underwear, BUT she sent me to the L&D at the hospital to have another test done to make sure she was correct.

I get to the hospital, get checked (again), and have to wait 10 minutes. Test is negative and they say the same thing, probably fluid from losing my mucous plug that was in my underwear.

When I went to use the bathroom (at the hospital after they check me), I have immediate burning when I was peeing. I’ve never had an UTI before so I’m guessing that’s what they feel like. But about 15 minutes later, I wasn’t hurting anymore.

Now when I pee, it’s burning still, but some pink blood accompanied it, too. Pink/red, no brown.

What is happening??!

EDIT: They checked my urine this morning at the OBGYN (like they do every visit). The doctor didn’t mention that I had a UTI or had any proteins from my urine sample. 🤷🏼‍♀️

EDIT AGAIN: just got off the phone with OBGYN— no protein in my urine that would lead for them to think I have a UTI.
