Is it okay to have sex while 4cm dilated? They never said I couldn’t and I’m not contracting or anything I’m just unsure if it could cause infection? Dumb question I’m sure I just want to make sure and my doctors on vacation so I have yet to ask.

Yep! It's only a bad idea after your water breaks.

If anything- I think it would just make baby come earlier.  They say sex and sperm can make labor start.

Yes, it’s safe so long as your water hasn’t broken. If water was broke, you’re more prone to infection. Baby is safely encased in the sac :) 
I’m not sure how having sex would be on whether or not your water could break during, buuuut that could always be a fun story to tell your friends later 😃

Well my doctor told me i could have sex up until my water breaks. But i didn't think to ask about that. I'll have to ask them at my next appointment
