So my sister in law and I were talking about my baby shower. I barely know anyone on my SO side of the family and i asked for her help to gather a guest list so my cousin can start looking for a place to have it. And she says to me, dont invite my mom. These people wont come if shes there....

First of all, this is not about your mom. This is celebrating bringing life into this world and if they cant get over their differences to come to something that has NOTHING to do with her, then thats on them.

Secondly, thats the grandmother to MY child. What type of person doesnt invite the grandmother? Thats just drama that I'll have to deal with for the rest of my life, because she cant let anything go. Everyones getting an invite. Wether they show up or not, again thats on them.

Someones always gotta try and start some sort of drama...its so irritating.
