‘Not yet, not soon’ for me. 
I’m very fortunate that in the U.K. we can take up to 12 months of mat leave. I’ll be taking all of it so won’t need to return to work until the end of June (I had a couple weeks off before baby was born).

I’m a working mum 🙋‍♀️, but I’m taking the full 18 months off (in Canada), so I don’t go back until Dec 2020.

I pushed the wrong button! I'm happily back at work. I went back 3 weeks ago.  I have the perfect schedule and work 3 days a week so I have 4 days to spend with my 2 boys.

My last day of work was may 30th. I was supposed to go back september 30th and I had every intention of doing so. The 29th my mom who is supposed to watch my girls got bronchitis so I scheduled to come back a week later. During that week I got so depressed over leaving my 3yo and 3 month old that I quit the day before I was supposed to go back and was put on antidepressants. I babysit now for extra income and it was the best thing I could have done for my mental health and my girls. My salary was cut in half, but I don't regret it for a second.

Our plan was for me to take a year off, but the more we thought about it the more it made sense for me to stay home. I officially quit October 7th. ❤️

I have another month off(which makes 4 in total). The last month off is unpaid though but we will make it work for a little more time with my baby! And I will be returning part time instead of full time.
