How many size 1 diapers are u buying?

Ok so I have no idea how much or how many bags or boxes of size 1 and newborn diapers I should be buying I’m 32 weeks & I don’t have a single diaper 😫 what do you guys recommend? Also should I even buy newborn diapers?

When you do buy them DON’T OPEN THEM! Only open one bag at a time as you use them. As long as they haven’t been opened, you can exchange for a bigger size if baby does outgrown them. :) 
I’ve bought two little bags of Pampers Swaddlers newborn. And 2 big boxes of size 1. I plan to buy another size 1 box and then move to size 2 until she is born. :)

Definitely buy newborn diapers, people either forget or dont know most babies loose about a pound after birth, my 8lbs baby came home at 7.1 and my 7lbs 2oz baby came home at 6lbs. 
I think most newborn diapers go up to 10lbs so you will use them for sure unless you have a bigger then average baby

i would only buy a few packs of newborns.... they go up to 8lbs. I would buy a box or 2 of size 1

We did a diaper raffle at my baby shower and lots of people brought diapers. I organized them in my basement by stages. I’m hoping this lasts us a while🤞🏼 plus another 2 packs of newborn diapers that I have stored in his pack n play. My husband is also doing a beer and diaper party with his friends so we’ll have more. FTM here my cousin said not to get excited that we we’ll go through these very quickly believe it or not. If we have too many I’ll just exchange for different sizes.

We are starting with two small bags of newborns and a box of 1s. My daughter was/is on the tiny side so I’m not anticipating a giant baby but ya never know, so I don’t want to stock up on too many NBs. If baby comes out average sized, we’ll probably just place an online order for some more NB size when the time comes. The size 1s we’ll of course use (I mean your baby would have to be seriously huge to skip NBs and size 1s) so I figured a box to start out is fine.

1 box of each. You never know how big he'll come out. If you want to stash up now, you can always buy bigger sizes and if you need smaller ones, exchange them.

I have about 3 small packages of newborn - different brands to try and see which I like best. Size 1 we have about 6 packages. Size two same and size 3 I have the most. 
My friend who just had a baby last year said they used the most of size 3 diapers so we have more of those.

It really depends on your baby’s size and proportions. My niece has really chubby thighs and butt and newborn never fit. I would wait and just save money for when you need diaper money

It depends, likes others said. My first baby was in preemie diapers for a month (she was born at 34wks, 5lbs 3oz), barely wore newborn size (maybe a month) and pretty much was in size 1 for almost 6months. She is now 3yrs and when she finally was potty trained she was only in size 4. So we went up sizes very very slowly. I currently have : 2 boxes of newborns, 4 boxes of size 1, 3 boxes size 2 and 1 box size 3. Second baby though so no showers, I’ve just slowly been buying when I find deals
