I have recently found out I am pregnant but due to certain circumstances unfortunately I will have to have an abortion. I am so heartbroken by this decision but I know its the right thing to do.

I have a doctors appointment booked with my regular GP in 3 days to discuss everything. I have mentioned it to close friends of mine who have said I can either get the abortion pill or have a procedure done.

I think I will be more comfortable with the abortion pill.

I am so sad and scared because I don’t know how the pill works. How does the pill work? Is it just one pill I have to take?
