Is getting sick through an ultrasound a real thing?

I went to my 20wk anatomy scan appointment this morning feeling perfectly normal. When the nurse came in she started the scan. I was fine. Then her pressure got more intense ( it was actually an uncomfortable pain ) I mentioned it to her and she apologized and kept going. I felt maybe I was exaggerating a bit so i started to ignore the pain. Then I got this hot flash and I blacked out when my vision came back I needed to vomit so I stopped her scan. When I got up I started to hear loud rings in both my ears. I went to the ladies room and washed my face. I lay back down and she continued I got sick again. She made me lay on my left side and said its normal for moms to get like this because we lay on our backs. It was extremely hot and I decided to suck it up and get through the scan. She continued and the vomit sensation came back so she cancelled my scan and made me another appointment 4 weeks out. She was angry that I wasn't able to allow her to do her job. ( this is at a high risk facility ).. I just don't think this could be a normal thing. I've had multiple ultrasounds done and this is the first one I had with these symptoms. An hour later I feel very sore from my belly as if I had fell.
