When to/when did you announce ?

I am currently 8w5d today. This is my first pregnancy and I’m not really showing too much yet.

It took my husband and I about a year and a half to get pregnant (with 2 failed IUI) and then I spontaneously fell pregnant naturally (now looking back) while I was leaving or coming back from a bachelorette weekend and took from time off from fertility appointments. (My doctor said we’d have a slim chance of getting pregnant without IVF as I have suspected endometriosis and he has low sperm count..he also quit smoking and took fertilpro)

But all in all I haven’t told anyone but him and surprisingly I thought keeping this secret from family would be killing me by now. Don’t get me wrong, it’s hard and I’d love to tell them but I think because it took so long to get here I’m paranoid and want to surpass my 12 week mark.

With that being said, we’re now going to try and wait until Christmas if I’m not too big (I’ll be 16 and a half weeks) and hopefully can hide it so we can really try and surprise our family in with the their Christmas gifts.

When did you tell everyone or when are you planning and how? (My due date is June 6,2020)

In addition to everyone’s gift there will also be these mugs saying either “Grandma, grandpa, uncle, or aunt” with an ultrasound picture in it. And I’ll also planning on wearing this shirt too. (I’m in Canada so thanksgiving is out for us and already happened)
