Breastfeeding???

Question

Any mom still breastfeeding her 14mo? Am tired of everyone complaining about the fact that I haven't weaned my baby... We aren't READY!

Still going strong over here. Still every 3-4 hours during the day and sometimes at night too. I’ve been getting comments from my SIL since he was 3 months old about getting him off the boob. I just ignore them. My first nursed till 21 months. Second 16 months and weaned himself because I was pregnant. I plan on nursing till this one decides to self wean.

Yep morning and night :) we’re not ready either, but I’ve had quite a fee family members ask when I’m stopping. I don’t understand why anyone needs to know or cares

I am! Still nurses 4 times a day and once in the middle of the night.

I am. She seems to be slowing down a bit but I still love it.  I do dislike that some parts of society feel it’s too long but I’ve found others who still do which helps to give me confidence in my decision.  Not sure why others feel it affects them!!!

I fed my first until 2 and got a ton of comments..  currently at 13 months with my second and have received no comments. Your doing great! Getting your LO through one more cold & flu season is worth any stupid comment they throw at you!

I’m still going. He’s loosing a bit of interest but always wants a morning feed. I plan to just feed until whenever we’re ready to stop. I got a few comments when we kept going past 12 months but everyone is pretty much used to it now.

Just did wean but that was because of pregnancy and lack of milk and painfulness while dry nursing. I nursed my first until 20 months and had planned to nurse until at least 2 but got pregnant and it wasn’t working for me anymore. Don’t listen to haters, you do what’s best for you and your baby! :D
