What can i do to help my son learn to walk??

My son is 11 months old.

For the past 2 months he has been walking along the couches and stuff that he can reach. He stands up by himself for a split second then sits down.

I try walking behind him and he jeeps looking up at me lol. I also try to get encourage him to walk to me or a toy. Bit he crawls instead.

I stood him up against the wall and he stood there by himself for a good 2-3 minutes.
