So confused

I had a positive pregnancy test and then like maybe a week or so I got my period or I think I did. I have a really long period and I bleed supper super bad. How ever with this (period) I have only been bleeding like maybe 4 days and its not heavy like my normal periods and it went from bleeding enough to just wear a pad that I was able to wear all day. An that has never happened. Then it hot even lighter and lighter to were its just barely spotting. And I just took another pregnancy test and it still say positive. Could someone PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON PLZ. we have been trying so hard so long. (6years)
