Could having BV be the reason why I CANT get pregnant?

I've heard that having BV can be a cause you to not get pregnant so I was wondering if it was true.

If you have BV you should not be TTC.
Your man will be a carrier of BV and give it right back to you after you're treated

Are you saying you have it now or you've had it in the past? If you have it now and you happen to be in your fertile week, then sex is not possible. You have to wait until your infection clears. It wont prevent you from getting pregnant next month.

It makes sense, I mean CM has to be a certain type of consistency and pH level to conceive. If you have Bacterial Vaginosis this balance is out and may not create that ideal environment for conception to occur.
