Be honest, do you like being a mom of more than one?

Question

So I'm really conflicted. My boyfriend (we are near 30 btw just arent married) talks about having a second child, but I really think it would be too much work. One is so easy. I cant imagine dividing my attention between two kids. Then going through the newborn stage all over again just doesnt sound appealing. If you were in my shoes, how do you feel? Thanks!

If you arent ready for another child then dont have another. My husband and I decided to wait until our daughter is a bit older to have another baby. She is 14 months old and she really depends on us a lot right now. She needs patience and time. She needs to be taught different things. She needs me to be able to get on the floor and play with her. She is not ready to lose any part of me or split our time right now. And theres only more to come. She will soon need potty training, behavior training, and to be taught to read and write. I dont know if I would have the time or energy to give my best efforts with these things if we had another baby or i was pregnant.

My second wasn’t really planned. I wasn’t really ready for it. And it’s been overwhelming for me. I love both my babies and I don’t regret them, but sometimes I wish he’d come a couple years later. And other times I love having them both right now at these ages.

I used to feel the same way with my daughter. I didn’t have a second child until she was 8 years old. When I found out I was pregnant with my second, I thought I wouldn’t be able to Love them both the same/equally and that it would be to much work. It actually worked out wayyyyyy better than I thought it would. They are the best of friends and it’s pretty easy juggling two kids in two different age groups and different stages of life.. 
I’m pregnant with my third! If I can manage two likes it’s easy, I can handle a third one. 
You honestly get used to it. It may be a little weird during the first month or two but after that you become a pro lol

I couldn’t commit to having another kid until my son was 3. I’m sure it will be a lot of work, but I did want my son to have a sibling. Now he’s going to have a little brother next year and I’m pretty exited. We are definitely done after two though. I don’t really think you can go wrong either way. There are a lot worse things than being an only child 😂

I have a 10 year old and 8 year old and we just had a baby 6 months ago! It’s challenging but that’s motherhood no matter how many you have! We will probably have one more in a few years ♥️

My kids are 18 months apart. I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way. They are best friends. At first it was hard to understand that my love would grow for another. It’s hard to imagine that I would be shared. But I thought it was easy. Btw, I am an only child. And I’ve always wanted a sibling when I was young, got over it when I was teen.
So the kid will survive either way! 🤗 good luck to you!
