When do babies eyes change ?

My husband and I both have dark brown eyes .im mixed black and Mexican , he’s white and Mexican. We were born with dark eyes. Hazel and blue eyes are a recessive gene on both sides of our family and my sons eyes change with whatever color he’s wearing ! I’m wondering if they’ll change to brown or stay hazel???

I would think they’ll stay now, they can change up to 6 months or longer but it’s usually the 1st few months. Both my boys had their dark brown eyes (like mine) by 3 months. Amelia’s are blue like her daddy and I’m really hoping they stay but they say dark eyes are dominant so we’ll see!

They change a lot, my sons stopped changing just before 2 years old. Now they are constantly green/hazel depending on the light.

It can happen up to 6 months apparently and some studies suggest even longer than that. So apparently it’s hard to tell. I’m hoping my boy keeps his big blue eyes. I have hazel and my husband has green so if he keeps them they are from his grandmas
