My husband and I started ttc back in August of 2017. I found out early in 2018 that I was not ovulating on my own, so I started taking medication to make me ovulate. I found out in June 2018 that I was pregnant, and my husband and I were so incredibly excited! A little over a month later, we went in for a routine 10 week appointment and found out that I had had a miscarriage. We were devastated. I didnt know how to move on. I decided to go through with having a d&c procedure. We waited until the doctor said it was ok, and then we started trying again.

My husband decided to take an opportunity to go back to school, which was going to be about 1000 miles away from me. During this time, i decided to make a change to lose weight and eat healthier. We've been making our relationship work with the distance. I'm a teacher so I am able to fly out to see him when we have different breaks, I even got to spend the entire summer with him.

I had to decide if I was going to be able to afford to fly back to NY for my brother in laws wedding at the end of August. I decided it was worth it because its family, and because i get to see my husband again.

Then comes September, I've lost over 30 lbs. My period is late, which is pretty typical. I've never had much of a regular period. But i also notice that my boobs have been hurting. I decide to take a pregnancy test, believing there's no way I could be pregnant since I never took any meds for me to ovulate. The test is positive. I take another one a couple days later, and the dark line shows up in only 30 seconds. I start to think OH MY GOD!!! I'm actually pregnant????

I am just so incredibly excited and nervous throughout this whole process. I am currently 10 weeks, and baby is doing great! Heartrate of 166 ❤
